Instagram Influencer Marketing Platform, Brandnew IO, Announces Partnership with Universal Music Germany to Promote Artists
Global influencer marketing platform for Instagram, Brandnew IO recently announced that it has partnered with the German subsidiary of Universal Music Group to support artists brands on Instagram.
More than ever, people expect brands to talk with them rather than at them, and this is a huge step in influencer marketing for a variety of reasons. Universal Music Group is the global music leader, with wholly owned operations in 60 territories. Its businesses also include Universal Music Publishing Group, one of the industry's premier music publishing operations worldwide. Brandnew IO will help UMG in Berlin target ideal brand influencers for its artists, as well as help manage artists’ Instagram presences through creative influencer campaigns via the photo-sharing network.
Through this partnership, UMG Germany artists will now be able to take advantage of Brandnew’s marketplace of over 1,600 different global influencers, based across more than 60 countries.
Brandnew IO’s technologically advanced platform fosters the largest international influencer network on Instagram across diverse verticals. The company’s work currently spans 146 brand campaigns across 60 countries, including the United States and Germany, with prominent campaigns for brands like Adidas, Coca-Cola, Panasonic and L’Oreal. Techniques for these influencer campaigns include photo contests, storytelling and product placement.
“We see Brandnew’s platform and influencer marketplace as the perfect partner for UMG Germany’s significant collection of talent,” said Francis Trapp, CEO and Co-Founder of Brandnew. “Personal branding is an important factor in the digital music age. We can’t leave any stone unturned in helping artists monetize themselves and their work. Connecting with existing fans and discovering potential new audiences through social media is one important way to do that, and we look forward to Brandnew helping lead those efforts,” said Frank Briegmann, President Central Europe Universal Music and Deutsche Grammophon.
