learn IT today, use IT tomorrow

Do you ask yourself if your job skill sets are current? Do you wonder what changes are happening in the industry that you must know? Are you nervous about starting to learn something out of your core skills but need a bit of help to get started? This is WHY we put together TechDays and WHY you should register.

Every day brings us closer to the second annual TechDays SF on May 2nd and 3rd, 2013. We’ve nearly finalized all our sessions and speakers, so be sure check them out. You don’t want to miss these two incredible days of learning from some of the best presenters available. We are able to attract top speakers from events like Microsoft TechEd, TechMentor, WinConnections and other leading industry conferences all specifically geared toward the IT Professional. Best of all, we are able to do this at a fraction of the cost of those events so don’t miss out.

Due to room capacity issues the conference will be limited to a maximum of 200 attendees with registration being first come first served. There is no early bird special, the price is already hard to beat for an equivalent lineup. We have also added the event to Lanyrd so please help us generate some noise about the conference and if you are attending let people know via twitter (hashtag is #techdays), LinkedIn and Facebook – thanks!

The list of session abstracts can be found here, and the current schedule is also being maintained on our mobile app via EventBoard so download it to get the most up to date session schedules, speaker bios and sponsor information.

If you have questions or comments please email us at techdays@pacitpros.org

If you are interested in sponsoring our event please see our sponsor page.

Remember, the event will be at Microsoft’s San Francisco Offices:

Microsoft Office
835 Market Street, Suite 700
San Francisco, CA 94103

Final Agenda: For session details, see our track/session descriptions.

We would like to invite you to participate as one of our premier sponsors for our 2nd annual TechDays IT Professional Conference in San Francisco, California scheduled for May 2nd and 3rd, 2013.

Pacific IT Professionals (Pac IT Pros) is one of the largest non-profit professional associations in the region geared towards IT Directors, IT System Managers, Network Managers, IT Pros and DevOps, with over 2,500 current members.

TechDays is an excellent opportunity for you to reach a large number of IT Professionals as well as to interact with your customers or potential new customers. Last year the event attracted over 100 attendees and we expect to increase that number this year. As a non-profit organization, the success of our event is largely due to our existing user group membership and our sponsors and we would love to have your participation! This year’s event information is detailed at http://www.techdays.org/ and our speaker line up for 2013 is really impressive http://techdays.org/speakers/speakerstechdays-sf-speakers-2013/

We have designed a number of sponsorship levels and we hope one will suit your needs. Please let me know at what level you would like to participate, or whether there is someone else within your organization we should contact directly. Confirmation of sponsorship levels are handled on a first come first served basis for those committed to pay and participate and we will not be expanding the quantity so once we have fulfilled our number no other sponsorship slots will be available.

We look forward to hearing from you. Please let us know if you have any questions. If you would like to sponsor please contact Jennelle Crothers via email at jennelle@pacitpros.org

FAQ:

How many people attended the TechDays event last year?
105 attendees, includes speakers, volunteers and paid attendees for the event

Who are the presenters for TechDays, are they of high enough quality to draw the right audience?
Last year’s speakers can be found at: http://techdays.org/speakers/speakerstechdays-sf-speakers-2012/ and the current approved speaker list can be found at: http://techdays.org/speakers/speakerstechdays-sf-speakers-2013/

The majority of our speakers have presented at Microsoft TechEd, TechMentor, Windows Connections and other major IT conferences around North America and the world. Many are Microsoft MVP’s, authors, and technical bloggers and are active presenting at many IT conferences or user groups throughout the US and beyond.

How will my company reach potential attendees?
We do not share our mailing list directly with sponsors. Depending on the sponsorship level there will either be 4 or 5 emails that go out to our entire mailing list with updates about the event. References to our sponsors will be included as appropriate in each email and depending on the level of sponsorship specific content will be sent out on the sponsor’s behalf. We encourage sponsors to send out information about the event to their clients directly too as we feel our conference is an incredible value for the price.

Are there booths or tables available as part of the sponsorship?
Our event is a regional IT Professional event and is in a smaller venue so booths and tables are not an option. We encourage face to face engagement with our attendees in the common areas between sessions. If you have materials for attendees, we can include those as part of the attendee registration packet.

Once we determine our sponsorship level, what do I do next?
Contact Jennelle Crothers via email at jennelle@pacitpros.org. Payment can be made via check, credit card or PayPal.
